Walking Conversations was a sound piece commissioned by Centre for Sustainable Fashion (CSF) on the occasion of IFFTI 2025, London College of Fashion, for the UAL archivisation of the event.
The workshop took place on the 3 March. ‘IFTTI participants were invited to join CSF educators and practitioners to experience walking as a critical practice and research methodology to explore the connection between bodies, environments and the sensory in the area local to LCF’s East Bank campus – a heavily landscaped space with much evidence of human intervention, punctuated by moments of wild nature.’
The piece was a composition of conversations that were had between participants throughout the walk woven with field recordings from the area.
